Royalties & Collections
Royalties that collect themselves.
Chipple calculates royalties on the sales that actually happened at the terminal and collects them automatically on the franchisor's schedule. No invoice, no reminder, no reconciliation call. Both sides see the same debit, with the same ID, on the same day.
How it works, in plain words
Four steps. No paper.
- 01
Calculated on real sales
Every sale closes at the terminal. Royalties and brand fund are calculated on gross sales as they happen, at the percentage in your agreement.
- 02
Collected automatically by ACH
On the franchisor's schedule, weekly or as chosen, the amount due is collected by ACH from the franchisee's account. Nobody sends an invoice.
- 03
Every debit has an ID
Each collection carries a unique ID. The franchisor sees it. The franchisee sees it. The bank statement shows it.
- 04
Statements reconcile with the bank
Monthly statements list every sale, every fee and every debit. The total matches the bank, line by line.
Setup includes the royalty clause and ACH authorization — Chipple helps you put it in place.
The schedule
Weekly, or on your schedule.
Most brands collect weekly. Some collect on the first and fifteenth. Chipple runs the schedule you set, for the whole network or by store group.
The franchisee sees the next collection date and amount before it happens. Fewer surprises, fewer calls.

Brand fund & fees
Everything the network owes, in one debit.
Royalty, brand fund, technology fee. Each is calculated separately and shown separately. They are collected together, so the franchisee sees one line on the bank statement and one breakdown in Chipple.
Chargebacks and ACH rejects are flagged the day they happen, with the store, the amount and the reason.

Franchisee view
The franchisee sees exactly what you see.
The store dashboard shows sales, the royalty calculated on them and the debit that followed. Same numbers, same IDs. The conversation about the royalty check goes away because there is no royalty check.
Operators who trust the number pay attention to the store instead.

How many systems does it take to run your franchise?
