Chipple

Company

Franchising first. Payments second. One platform.

Chipple was started by people who ran franchise networks and by people who ran the payment rails underneath them. The platform is what happens when the two stop being separate companies.

Our story

Chipple started in franchising, not in software. The founding team spent fifteen years opening stores, writing operations manuals, publishing menus by e-mail and chasing royalties at the end of the month. Every network ran on the same five systems, and none of them talked to each other.

The second half of the team came from payments. Eight years inside one of the largest processors in the country, watching franchise brands settle card sales one store at a time and reconcile royalties by hand a month later. The money was already flowing through the terminal. The royalty calculation was happening somewhere else.

Putting the two together was the whole idea. If the platform that publishes the menu is the same platform that records the sale, the royalty can be calculated on the real number and collected automatically. Headquarters and the store look at the same dashboard because there is only one.

That is Chipple Core: Operate and Collect on one platform, with the terminal included. When a brand is ready to scale, Chipple extends across the network with development, opening and compliance modules, under the same agreement and the same support line. Built for franchise networks of any size. Restaurants and QSR first.
